Results from the most current race will not be finalized until the Wednesday following the race. This is to ensure accurate information & placement for all Garmin Kansas City Marathon participants.

FINISHER MEDAL

Every participant of the Garmin Kansas City Marathon will be given a medal. The 2024 medal features the iconic KC Marathon fountain logo accompanied by a pendant featuring your race distance!

Full Marathon

  • 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: $600 Garmin gift card & custom award

  • 2nd place overall male & female: $400 Garmin gift card & custom award

  • 3rd place overall male & female: $200 Garmin gift card & custom award

Half Marathon

  • 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: $300 Garmin gift card & custom award

  • 2nd place overall male & female: $200 Garmin gift card & custom award

  • 3rd place overall male & female: $100 Garmin gift card & custom award

10K

  • 1st place overall male & female: Custom award

  • 2nd place overall male & female: Custom award

  • 3rd place overall male & female: Custom award

5K

  • 1st place overall male & female: Custom award

AGE GROUP AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top 3 Male & top 3 Female finishers in each of the following age groups:

5K: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 / 80 & Over

10K: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 / 80 & Over

Half: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 / 80 & Over

MASTERS AWARDS

Masters Awards (age 40+) will be given to the top male & top female finisher in each race distance.

*Overall event winners are excluded from age group awards. Participants cannot win multiple awards.
